- Notre Dame beats Michigan today and without rhyme or reason enters the Top 25.
- If Vanderbilt is 3-0 after today, they will be ranked for their visit to Oxford next weekend, and the rationale voters will use is a) pity for Bobby Johnson and b) and inexplicably close game between the defeated South Carolina Gamecocks and the glorious Georgia Knowshons.
- Auburn and Mississippi State gets ugly fast. Auburn tailbacks embarrass the Bulldog defensive front.

Is it just my own hangover, or did that Cal guy really just puke green stuff all over the field?
Will State's offense even score tonight?
Will Ole Miss' offense score more points than Samford has fans?
Can I repeat as "Best Drunk in Whiskey Wednesday's General Vicinity", or will the Samford Southern Baptists have a sleeper to challenge me? (Whiskey: introduce yourself next time, we can get Ole Miss "mo' crunk" together.)
Breaking 50 would be nice, but I just want to get through the game without any injuries. I'd like to see the second string in at the half.
Interesting point about Vanderbilt. I don't actually think we'll be ranked -- the SEC media and coaches respect Bobby Johnson, but the national media and coaches probably don't know much about him. But I expect we'll pick up a few more votes, and your point about So Car is very valid.
Fact: Fewer points were scored in Starkville tonight than in any of the three Auburn/State baseball games last spring.
Fact: State scored their two points on an Auburn holding call in the end zone. That means that Auburn actually scored five points in the game, but two of them were in the wrong direction.
Fact: Auburn-MS St was the worst game ever.
