Not so fast. I looked back at the covers from the last couple months and we may find that the curse has its ups and downs like the market.

Rundown:
9/29 - Cubs, TBD
9/22 - Yankee Stadium, It was history anyway
9/15 - Favre, 6 TD's!
9/08 - Bama, Still undefeated
9/03 - NFL Previews, Of the four cover players only Tom Brady may have suffered, which is perfectly fine by me.
8/25 - Phelps, sporting 8 Golds (also made the cover 8/18 and 7/28 )
8/11 - College Preview, all cover teams are still in the BCS hunt
8/04 - Tyree, NYG still undefeated

Not too sure it's time to hit the panic button on the SI curse just yet y'all. Who knows, maybe the curse will have a reciprocal effect and we'll continue on this upward win trend. If not, blame the SI cover and not me. They started it.

RE 9/3: Jacksonville has been somewhat of a disappointment. I believe they're 2-2, but with the Titans at 4-0, they have little shot to win the division much less get a wild card in the AFC.

Is it just me, or are we getting respect without a Manning?
