Good:
The Rebels are on a 7 game winning streak coming into the weekend and have won 4 SEC games in a row. During the midweek games, many players got their chance to shine. Sean Stuyverson hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the tenth on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Michael Guerrero went 2 for 3 and hit a 3 run homer.
Bad:
During Tuesday's game, the Rebels slept walk during most of the contest committing 3 errors and leaving many runners stranded.

As far as LSU is concerned, they are in their coached by second-year coach Paul Mainieri.
He is trying to resurrect a once proud program, and he has done a remarkable job of recruiting. The Tigers currently sit at 21-11 on the season and 5-7 in the SEC. Last weekend, they took 2 of 3 from Alabama in Baton Rouge. The pitching staff is led by Jared Bradford who is 6-3 and sports a 3.91 ERA with 40 strikeouts. Statistically speaking, their best pitcher is Austin Ross who has a 2.15 ERA with 22 strikeouts. However, Bradford gets the most press. Hitting leaders for the Tigers are Derek Helenihi who bats .375 and Matt Clark who bats .343 with 13 home runs.Comparing the teams:
