I don't understand. Punters are expendable. Why didn't Fulmer just kick him off the team? I know his family has ties to Tennessee. I know that he averaged over 40 yards per punt.But when it comes down to it... he's a punter. Kick him off the team. Make up for all those players you didn't kick off by letting him be the sacrificial lamb.

If the SEC teams had to kick off every DUI convict, the Sun Belt would be a much better conference.
He took his scholarship away from him and suspended him for half of the season. It wasn't exactly a light punishment. Plus -- this is old news.
