No real consolation...

Wake Forest fans are talking up Jevan Snead. It doesn't make the loss sting any less, but it's good to see that we're not staring through red glasses when we say he's good.

Obviously, his stats were good for the game, but I was the most pleased with his ability to elude defenders and keep his head in the pocket. Honestly, I really think he's the third best quarterback we've ever had at Ole Miss. That's more than I expected.

Hard to really compare Snead to QBs we had before Archie, as we didn't see them and the game was very different. But yeah, he has a real chance to be the 2nd best in the SEC this year.

hard to read the commentary with the "Wake Ringtones" ad flashing above...are we going to have one of these for every opponent that we lose to? I remember the MState one from pre-season, but believe there was not a UMemphis one last week. This advertiser is a no-talent ass-clown.

Yeah. I guess it just sweeps the page for common themes. Since we played Wake this week, we mentioned them a whole lot.

Snead > Fourcade

Let's give him a couple years before we anoint him to any list, ok? Yes, he is good and could be great. But lest we forget...he is a redshirt sophmore this year, right? So he has a couple more years if Coach Nutt can keep him away from the NFL to show us his stuff.

Shouldn't be hard to recruit receivers this year. But what we really need are about 8 top-notch offensive linemen.

Obviously, everybody has forgotten the golden arm of Tommy Luke.

I think Kent Austin still holds some records.

You guys are mighty young to leave out Charlie Conerly, Jake Gibbs, and Glynn Griffing. Those guys would have been great post-integration...not just when they played.

Austin held a lot of records but interestingly enough Kelly Powell had more big wins during that time frame.
