First link is from a CNNSI article by Stewart Mandel that takes out some quotes from Brandon Spikes interview with the media where he calls out the
Big 12, USC and gives Ole Miss a shout out. While the quotes from Spikes are great, check out the comment section. Maybe it is because I only read about SEC football and don't venture over to Big XII message boards, but there are seriously delusional fans on the other side of the Mississippi.
The second one is a link from the Dan Patrick show and his
interview with Houston Nutt who was on the show this morning. Nutt talks about recruiting against Alabama, the situation at Boston College and predicts a Florida Dub tonight.
Finally Orson Swindle's
piece from EDSBS that ran yesterday-ish. It does a great job critiquing the overrated assclown that is Rick Reilly and the whole hoopla over Utah and the BCS.

"The Ole Miss offense looked like it was going against the Tech scout team."--Spikes
Brilliant. SEC lovin'.
After all the news today about players leaving early for the draft, it makes me wonder which Rebels will skip out early.
Thoughts from tasse rouge?
My favorite comment is by some GT fan: "This is just when the SEC peaks. I'd like to see Florida play USC in November or LSU vs Oklahoma in October. Only Arkansas International knows what being in that realm feels like."
Shame on the SEC for peaking when major bowl games and National Championships are on the line. I guess he never heard the old saying "It's how you finish."
Of course, his argument is flawed anyway. He likes to play on the stereotype that the SEC doesn't play good OOC games during regular season. Just off the top of my head, in recent memory we've seen Auburn and Ark play USC, Ole Miss play Mizzou and ACC Champion Wake Forest, Bama play Clemson and FSU, UF plays FSU every year. UT played UCLA this year. Bama played OU when Shula was there. UGA plays GT every year. LSU played VT in recent years. Etc., etc., etc.
Hunter,
If I were a bettin' man, I'd say Hardy is leaving. We've heard that he's staying and that he's leaving from trusted sources so to say that anyone (including the emo graphic artist himself) knows for sure would likely be false.
Also, John Jerry is incredibly likely to stay.
