Of the several less-highly rated (gettin' PC here) signees we inked yesterday, who do you feel has the potential to be great and prove that their two or three stars were the product of either poor scouting or evaluation?

I whittled this down to a list of eight by removing the obviously grossly underrated (Z Mason, for example) and likely grade casualties (Eric Smiley, for example). My choice would most certainly be Dele Junaid. While was very lightly recruited and scouted, he was an All 5A safety in Texas. He's got a great frame on which to build and I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at OLB after a couple of seasons spent in the weightroom as a result of him taking a redshirt and riding the pine.

Concur on Junaid. Saw him play at the State Champ. game. He's a ballhawk. Needs to get in the weight room, though.

There's just something about him. He seems like a force coming off the edge.
joel kight? he's a two star on scout, but i'm not sure about rivals. i know our staff is in love with the guy. he's small, but really fast for a LBer
I agree as well with Junaid. He seems to go full tilt at all times on the field and has the range to make a lot of plays.
This was a good job of scouting by our Texas recruiter.
I can't disagree with Junaid and Williams being sleepers, but I'm looking forward to seeing my boy
E-mann in the trenches in a couple of years.
I'm going with Terrell Grant. His receptions didnt say much in his senior year but that might be because he has no quarterback. Look at his rushes though, 12 for 198 yds. He is big and fast. Run the fly route with him and let him get the ball over a tiny CB.
